RssDrop Update — April 24
Telegram bots fixed, AI Digest launched, widgets now follow your system theme, Starter Packs live, and a round of mobile improvements.
A big batch of improvements just shipped. Here's what changed.
Telegram Bots — fixed
If your bot wasn't posting to your channel, it will now. We tracked down a delivery bug that was silently swallowing errors. Bot delivery errors are also shown clearly in the dashboard so you always know what's happening.
AI Digest — new feature live
Get an AI-generated summary of your top articles, delivered to your inbox on a schedule you control. Supports OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, and DeepInfra — bring your own key and choose the model that fits your budget.
AI Digest is available now. Go to Settings → AI Digest to set it up.
Widgets — system theme support
Embedded widgets now follow your visitor's system theme automatically — light or dark, with no extra configuration. The dashboard preview also matches exactly what your visitors see, so what you preview is what gets embedded.
Starter Packs
Curated feed collections you can add in one click. Browse by topic and go from zero feeds to a fully stocked reader in under a minute. More topics are being added regularly.
Mobile improvements
Feed action buttons are now always visible on mobile — no more hunting for controls. Navigation touch targets have also been improved throughout the app.
